Black Country & West Birmingham NHS COVID-19 Vaccination Service
Where can I get vaccinated?
If you haven’t had your first dose yet – and are in an eligible group – there is plenty of vaccines available for you so please come forward and make an appointment. You can read detailed information about local vaccination services below.
The following vaccination services, which are primary care based, will offer the vaccine to patients within their Primary Care Network (PCN) group from one nominated site. Every GP practice across the Black Country and West Birmingham is linked to a PCN and is offering the vaccine to patients. In addition to this, each PCN is signed up to vaccinate patients in local care homes.
Please do not call your GP practice to ask about vaccination. They will call you when it is your turn.

Tipton Sports Academy (Sandwell)
We have been notified that Pfizer vaccines will be available from the Tipton vaccination centre from next week. The first delivery is expected during week commencing 31 May 2021; appointments on the National Booking Service will be released once confirmation of the delivery date is received.
People who are eligible to receive the vaccine will get a letter from the NHS COVID-19 Vaccination Booking service, telling them how to book their appointment. This can be at your nearest large vaccination centre, or one of a small number of local pharmacies.
People who receive a letter and can travel to a Vaccination Centre safely, can book using the details in the letter. You can choose to book online or over the phone. When booking, you will need:
Your name and date of birth
Your NHS number, which will be at the top of your letter
If you have previously declined the vaccine but have changed your mind, you are welcome to get your vaccination any time. Simply contact the National Booking Service to make an appointment. You can do this even if you no longer have your letter.
This video gives a preview of what to expect when you arrive at a vaccination centre.
If you are unable or don’t want to go to a Vaccination Centre, you can choose to wait and get a vaccination at a local GP service when invited. If this is your preferred option, there is no need to do anything, you will be contacted by your GP in due course.
Please do not call or turn up at a vaccination centre – vaccinations are by appointment through the national booking service only.
If you have a pharmacy near you that is offering vaccinations, you can book your appointment when you receive your invitation letter from the national NHS booking service. Follow the instructions in the letter to book, and simply select your local pharmacy when you are given the option.
